How Much Does It Cost To Rent A Lodge For A Family Reunion? (Per-Family Math Breakdown)

The useful number is not the nightly rate. It is what a family of five pays after the whole lodge is split.

Renting Three Peaks for a reunion costs $900 to $1,800 a night for the entire lodge. Not per room. Three weeknights in the off-season are $2,700. Split 40 ways, that is $67.50 a person for the stay — $22.50 a night — or $337.50 for a family of five, before groceries.

The rate covers the 9,600 sq ft house, all 10 bedrooms, the bunkroom, the commercial kitchen, and 100 private acres. Food, travel, and park fees are separate. Infants under two aren't counted in the overnight headcount, which helps the split if you have babies along. Seasons move. Confirm the window with Dave before a number goes in the family letter.

The Rates You Are Dividing

  • Fall–spring weekdays: $900 a night.
  • Fall–spring weekends: $1,100 a night.
  • Listed holidays, including Memorial Day, Labor Day, and Christmas Eve through New Year’s Day: $1,400 a night.
  • Thanksgiving: $1,400 a night, with a four-night minimum.
  • Summer: $1,800 a night, weekday check-in and check-out. The exact dates are on the rates page.

Three-night minimum on most stays. A $1,000 deposit holds the date, and the balance is due three months before you arrive. Read the cancellation terms on the policies page before you collect money from cousins.

What A Family Of Five Actually Pays

“A family” here means five people. Eight of those fill the lodge at 40. Six of them make a group of 30. The lodge total stays the same if your households are a different size. Only the split changes.

  • Three weeknights, $2,700. At 40 people: $67.50 a person, $337.50 for a family of five. At 30 people: $90 a person, $450 for a family of five.
  • Three weekend nights, $3,300. At 40: $82.50 a person, $412.50 for a family of five.
  • Three holiday nights, $4,200. At 40: $105 a person, $525 for a family of five.
  • Thanksgiving’s four nights, $5,600. At 40: $140 a person.
  • Three summer nights, $5,400. At 40: $135 a person, $675 for a family of five.

A seven-night off-peak week of five weekdays and two weekend nights is $6,700. At 35 people that is about $27 a person per night. The winter page rounds a similar week to about $7,000, roughly $29 a person per night, depending which nights land on the weekend. Use your actual dates.

Wedding Packages Are A Different Bill

Premier Winter is $6,900 for one wedding day. Winter Destination is $8,600 for three nights and includes lodging for up to 40. The summer equivalents are $9,600 and $14,300. Those prices include the event, and the wedding deposit is $3,000, not $1,000. A reunion that is only the house uses the nightly rates above.

Day events from September through May are separate too: $2,100 on a weeknight and $2,700 on a weekend, for eight hours. If you want meetings and beds, ask for a combined quote. Dave writes those one at a time.

How To Collect It

Publish the lodge total, the number of nights, and the per-person figure in the same note. Your family can decide that little kids pay a smaller share. The lodge bills the whole house either way. Collect the $1,000 deposit from the organizer first, then gather the rest on a date that beats the three-month balance.

Keep groceries in a second pot. If the headcount drops, the lodge total stays and the per-person number goes up. Say that out loud before anyone books a flight.
